Plant Medicine & Psychedelic Integration Therapy
Plant Medicine and Psychedelic Integration Therapy offers a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space to help you process, ground, and make meaningful sense of altered states of consciousness — whether those experiences felt profound, confusing, overwhelming, or somewhere in between.
As a psychologist, I do not provide, prescribe, endorse, or facilitate the use of any substances. This work focuses entirely on two distinct and clinically recognised phases: preparation and integration.
Preparation supports you before a planned experience — helping you clarify your intentions, address underlying psychological material that may surface, and approach the experience with as much groundedness and readiness as possible.
Integration supports you afterward — helping you translate what emerged into language, meaning, and practical psychological change that holds in everyday life. Without this phase, even the most powerful experiences can remain fragmented, confusing, or difficult to sustain.
MY APPROACH
WHAT TO EXPECT
An important note: Psychedelic integration therapy is a legitimate and increasingly recognised area of clinical practice. It concerns the psychological processing of experience, not the facilitation of it. At no point does our work together involve the provision, prescription, recommendation, or procurement of any substance, legal or otherwise. If you are seeking guidance on accessing substances, I am not the right resource for that. What I can offer is skilled, ethical, and genuinely open-minded psychological support for what you have experienced or are preparing to experience, and help translating that into something that lasts.
IS THIS RIGHT FOR YOU?
This service is appropriate whether your experience was deeply positive and you want help integrating its insights, or whether it was difficult, destabilising, or left you with more questions than answers. Both are valid and both are workable.
If you are currently in acute psychological distress following an experience, please reach out promptly, and if the distress is severe, please also contact your GP or an appropriate crisis service. Integration therapy works best when there is enough stability to reflect, process, and make meaning. If we are not yet at that point, our first work together will be to establish that ground.
Psychological & Diagnostic Assessments
A psychological assessment offers clarity where uncertainty has been sitting for a while — whether you’re seeking a formal diagnosis, trying to understand a pattern that’s been difficult to name, or simply wanting a clearer picture of how your mind works.
Moving beyond labels, these evaluations are designed to uncover the root causes of your challenges, identify your genuine strengths, and provide a practical roadmap for treatment or personal growth. They combine, as necessary, structured clinical interviews, standardised tools, and professional judgement to give you answers that are both meaningful and actionable.
ASSESSMENT AREAS
WHAT TO EXPECT
IS AN ASSESSMENT RIGHT FOR YOU?
Assessments are appropriate whether you are self-referred and seeking personal clarity, or have been directed by a GP, psychiatrist, school, or another professional. You do not need a referral to book.
If you’re unsure which type of assessment fits your situation, feel free to get in touch before committing to anything. A brief conversation is usually enough to work out what’s needed and whether this is the right next step.
Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic tool that uses deep relaxation and focused attention to help you access your mind’s natural capacity for healing and change. I will guide you into a calm, receptive state where we can safely explore and shift negative thought patterns and beliefs, reduce stress, and work through personal challenges at a pace that feels right for you.
WHAT IT HELPS WITH
HOW IT WORKS
IS HYPNOTHERAPY RIGHT FOR YOU?
Hypnotherapy is safe and effective for most people, but it is not suitable for everyone. I do not work with hypnotherapy as a standalone treatment where active psychiatric conditions are present, including psychosis, schizophrenia, or severe dissociative disorders. It is also not recommended during active substance intoxication.
If you are currently under the care of a psychiatrist, psychologist, or GP for a mental health condition, I warmly encourage you to continue that support alongside any work we do together — hypnotherapy works best as a complement to, not a replacement for, professional medical or psychological care where that is needed.
If you are unsure whether hypnotherapy is appropriate for your situation, please feel free to get in touch before booking, and we can have an honest conversation about whether it’s a good fit.
Family Therapy offers a structured, collaborative space for families to address conflict, improve communication, and restore connection. Whether you are navigating a specific crisis or caught in patterns that have quietly built over time, this work helps each member of the family feel heard, while shifting the dynamics that keep the system stuck.
The focus is never on identifying a single person as the problem. Difficulties in families are almost always relational, maintained by cycles, roles, and unspoken rules that everyone participates in, often without realising it. That understanding shapes everything about how we work.
Important to note: family therapy is not the appropriate setting to address situations of active abuse, family violence, or immediate child protection concerns. If any of these are present, please seek appropriate individual support and/or the relevant protective services first — we can discuss from there whether and when family work might be appropriate.
WHAT TO EXPECT
IS FAMILY THERAPY RIGHT FOR YOU?
Family therapy is well suited to families experiencing persistent conflict, parent-child relational difficulties, the impact of loss or trauma on the family unit, challenges around a child or adolescent’s behaviour or wellbeing, or significant transitions such as divorce, remarriage, or bereavement.
If you are unsure whether family therapy is appropriate for your situation, or how to begin the conversation with your family about seeking support, feel free to reach out. Sometimes the first step is simply understanding what the process looks like.
Couples and Marital Therapy offers a supportive, collaborative space for you and your partner to navigate relationship difficulties, heal relational ruptures, and rebuild a secure and lasting bond. Rooted in evidence-based frameworks, this focused approach helps you understand the dynamics driving your relationship, untangle repetitive conflicts, and reconnect with both shared purpose and genuine intimacy.
This is active work — not a space to simply vent or adjudicate who is right. Together, we work to shift the patterns beneath the surface so that lasting change becomes possible.
Important to note: couples therapy is not recommended as the primary space to address active intimate partner violence or ongoing coercive control. If either of these is present in your relationship, please seek appropriate individual support first, and we can discuss from there whether and when couples work might be appropriate.
MY THERAPEUTIC APPROACH
WHAT TO EXPECT
IS COUPLES THERAPY RIGHT FOR YOU?
This approach is well suited to couples experiencing persistent conflict, emotional distance, communication breakdown, difficulties recovering from betrayal or loss of trust, or a general sense that the relationship has lost its footing. It can also be valuable for couples navigating major life transitions — becoming parents, blending families, career changes, or grief — that place unexpected strain on the relationship.
Couples therapy requires both partners to be willing to engage, even if one is more reluctant than the other at the outset. Some ambivalence is normal and workable; complete unwillingness to participate is not. If you are unsure whether both of you are ready, or whether this is the right time, feel free to reach out before booking — that conversation costs nothing and may itself bring some clarity.
Individual Psychotherapy is an active, collaborative partnership designed to help you uncover the root causes of your struggles and create lasting change. Drawing on a Short-Term Dynamic framework, this focused approach works with both the conscious patterns you recognise in yourself and the unconscious dynamics that may be quietly driving them. Together we engage in focused, purposeful work — building emotional resilience, deepening self-understanding, and breaking free from cycles that have kept you stuck.
MY THERAPEUTIC APPROACH
WHAT TO EXPECT
IS INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOTHERAPY RIGHT FOR YOU?
This approach suits people who are ready to look beneath the surface — who sense that what they’ve tried so far hasn’t quite reached the root of things, and who are willing to engage actively in their own healing. It is particularly well suited to anxiety, depression, relational difficulties, unresolved grief, low self-worth, and patterns that repeat across different areas of life despite your best efforts to change them.
If you are unsure whether this is the right fit, please feel free to reach out before committing to anything.
