Plant Medicine and Psychedelic Integration Therapy offers a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space to help you process, ground, and make meaningful sense of altered states of consciousness — whether those experiences felt profound, confusing, overwhelming, or somewhere in between.
As a psychologist, I do not provide, prescribe, endorse, or facilitate the use of any substances. This work focuses entirely on two distinct and clinically recognised phases: preparation and integration.
Preparation supports you before a planned experience — helping you clarify your intentions, address underlying psychological material that may surface, and approach the experience with as much groundedness and readiness as possible.
Integration supports you afterward — helping you translate what emerged into language, meaning, and practical psychological change that holds in everyday life. Without this phase, even the most powerful experiences can remain fragmented, confusing, or difficult to sustain.
MY APPROACH
- Trauma-Informed and Depth-Oriented — Integration is approached through a trauma-informed lens that takes seriously the depth of material that can surface during non-ordinary states. Having a skilled, grounded clinical space to process what emerged is often what determines whether the experience becomes genuinely transformative or remains confusing and incomplete.
- Somatic and Body-Centered — Not all of what surfaces during a journey can be captured in words. This work pays close attention to what the body is carrying, helping you discharge trapped physical tension and process material that may have emerged somatically rather than narratively.
- Parts Work and Ego-State Integration — Plant medicine experiences often bring different aspects of the psyche into sharp relief. We work with these parts directly, helping you understand, integrate, and build a more harmonious relationship between them.
- Mindfulness and Acceptance — Rather than rushing to resolve or explain what arose, we work with open, non-judgmental curiosity toward your experience, including the parts that were difficult, strange, or resistant to easy meaning.
- Meaning-Making and Depth Psychology — We draw on depth psychological traditions to help you find the personal meaning embedded in what emerged — symbols, themes, relational patterns, or insights that point toward something significant about your inner life.
- Grounding and Stabilisation — Particularly where experiences have been intense or destabilising, we prioritise practical grounding, helping you return to a stable, functioning baseline before moving into deeper processing work.
- Non-Directive — My role is not to interpret your experience for you or tell you what it means. It is to create the conditions in which you can find your own meaning, and to offer skilled support when the process becomes difficult, confusing, or overwhelming.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Preparation Sessions — If you are preparing for an upcoming experience, we can use our time to clarify intentions, address psychological readiness, and discuss how to approach the experience in a way that supports rather than undermines your wellbeing.
- Ongoing Sessions — We work at your pace, moving between making sense of specific experiences, processing what has surfaced emotionally or psychologically, and grounding insights into your day-to-day life and relationships. There is no fixed template — integration looks different for everyone.
An important note: Psychedelic integration therapy is a legitimate and increasingly recognised area of clinical practice. It concerns the psychological processing of experience, not the facilitation of it. At no point does our work together involve the provision, prescription, recommendation, or procurement of any substance, legal or otherwise. If you are seeking guidance on accessing substances, I am not the right resource for that. What I can offer is skilled, ethical, and genuinely open-minded psychological support for what you have experienced or are preparing to experience, and help translating that into something that lasts.

This service is appropriate whether your experience was deeply positive and you want help integrating its insights, or whether it was difficult, destabilising, or left you with more questions than answers. Both are valid and both are workable.
If you are currently in acute psychological distress following an experience, please reach out promptly, and if the distress is severe, please also contact your GP or an appropriate crisis service. Integration therapy works best when there is enough stability to reflect, process, and make meaning. If we are not yet at that point, our first work together will be to establish that ground.
